The Mindo Library
The Mindolé Community Library, a unique space in the heart of Mindo, heart of Mindo, a rural community of San Miguel de los Bancos. In Mindolé the community unites around the transformative power of reading, fostering integration and free and open access to the knowledge contained in books. We are also proud to be the only library in the territory of the Pichincha Andean Chocó Biosphere Reserve. And we are motivated by the idea of being able to spread this initiative to other cantons in our beloved territory. We are committed to caring for and preserving the nature that surrounds us.
